LAB MADE DIAMONDS ARE THE RESULT OF OVER ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH BY SOME OF THE LARGEST CORPORATIONS IN THE WORLD. THESE DIAMONDS ARE NOT MINED AND SO DO NOT DISTURB THE EARTH. LAB CREATED DIAMONDS ARE CONFLICT FREE AND WE FIND THEM AS A PERFECT ALTERNATIVE FOR THE SOCIALLY AND ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS.  

FORMÉS chose to work exclusively with lab - grown diamonds. We believe that they are the future of jewelry industry. We see them as more ethical, transparent, future oriented and earth friendly products in comparison to the natural diamonds. What is more, they are more affordable option. 

The 3 major international diamond grading laboratories GIA, HRD and IGI provide diamond grading reports that state that lab-grown diamonds have exactly the same optical, physical and chemical characteristics as mined diamonds. The only difference between a lab-grown diamond and a mined diamond is the point of origin. One is grown above the ground while the other is extracted from the ground.

FORMÉS doesn’t see lab-grown diamonds as a substitute for mined diamonds but as a new choice in diamonds. A choice the consumer deserves when making a diamond jewellery purchase. Lab-grown diamonds are already growing in popularity among the budget conscious and socially responsible consumers and also among Millennials, who love science based products that have a story to tell.

FORMÉS diamonds range in size from less than 0.01 carat to over 5 carats. The colour ranging from D to K and the clarity from Internally Flawless to SI2. Usually we work with F and G colors, VVS and VS clarity. All of our diamonds larger than 0.30 ct are certified and laser inscribed by the International Gemmological Institute (IGI) and state clearly that they are laboratory grown diamonds.
